I was lucky enough to attend a concert last night in Eckington Church and before going was interested to know how a lone trumpeter could entertain for 2 hours.
Well I can now say WOW!!
I was entertained by a master trumpeter called John Barker who I have known for some time so I knew he could play but his presentation and stories of his life, the other people in his life and the humble way that John told us that he felt privileged to be able to play music was great. Well, after all the hard work you have put in, you deserve it.

When I listen to John it brings back happy memories of our wedding day. He was pivotal to our special day. I had a lump in my throat today. He touched and has touched so many of my family past and present through his musical talent.
